Bishop Melvin Brown recently purchased acreage to build a church and medical clinic in the Santo Domingo District  Council. This relatively new diocesan has great potential to help the community.

The LaRomana church, the mother church of the Dominican Republic Council is part of this council. Many conferences are hosted there to help empower the pastors, families and communities. 

A trip to the Dominican Republic Council is not complete without fellowshipping with Suffragan Bishop Juan Antonio, host pastor. A primary school that is second to none is also on the church grounds. Sponsorship is needed because school in the Dominican Republic is not free.
